Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) shocked America Sunday by posting a Father’s Day photo showing a slice of cheese on a raw uncooked burger.

The Democrat Senate Majority Leader was attempting a common photo op taken by many politicians to relate to the common folk.

“Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a backyard and for the first time we’re having a barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill!” Schumer captioned his post.

However, the grill-inept senator made a fatal mistake that cost him whatever tiny bit of dignity he may have had left – he placed two fresh cheese slices on a raw hamburger patty, a move grill masters everywhere would deem not only amateur or rookie, but downright satanic.

To make matters worse, Schumer posted evidence of his boneheaded move on social media, only later to delete it.

Luckily, X users helped preserve Schumer’s idiotic grill error for posterity.

The incident was reminiscent of the time failed Democrat senatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke tried to cook burgers, but ended up calling attention to his lack of cooking skills.

Schumer’s photo is being seen as the perfect encapsulation of the incompetent Democrat party.
